Senior Alpine Ski Club
The TD Senior Alpine Ski Club has more than 180 members. The club offers Tahoe Donner alpine skiers age 55 and above who ski at intermediate, advanced, or expert levels the opportunity to ski various nearby resorts.
The club offers more than 30 ski days with reduced group rates at various resorts around the Tahoe Basin, including:
- Sugar Bowl
- Mt. Rose
- Squaw Valley
- Alpine Meadows
Ski conditioning: In the fall, the club provides a series of ski specific pre-conditioning clinics at Trout Creek Recreation Center.
Winter clinics throughout the season: Skiing improvement, powder skiing, and racing; these ski events typically include club races and ski equipment demo days.
Travel opportunities organized through the Far West Ski Association can include a ski week at a designated western resort (Colorado, Utah) and a European ski trip.
Interested powder skiers will enjoy our “First Tracks,” program, which provides a hot line and the organization to make the most of each and every Sierra storm.
Activities: The club is active throughout the year with off-season activities by sponsoring bike rides, kayak trips, tennis and golf tournaments, barbecues, catered and potluck dinners, and specialty parties.
If you are a senior (age 55+) Tahoe Donner alpine skier who want to enjoy year-round sports activities and a great social environment, the Tahoe Donner Senior Alpine Ski Club is for you.
