Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center offers more than 100 km of world-class trails, comprised of 24% advanced, 40% intermediate and 36% novice terrain, along with four warming huts.

Trails are groomed daily for skating and classic skiing using state-of-the-art snow-grooming machines (as snowpack and conditions allow). Our goal is to provide the best skiing experience possible.

Please note: During the winter months, the trails around Alder Creek Adventure Center down to Euer Valley and up to Drifter/Hawk’s Peak areas are closed to hiking and mountain biking. This area is maintained for cross country skiing and snowshoeing when conditions allow. Use of this area in the winter season requires a fee.

Please note that

  • Access requires a trail pass or season pass.
  • Walking, sledding and biking are not permitted on the cross country trails in winter. Travel is only permitted on skis or snowshoes.
  • Access is not permitted outside of operational hours.
