In order to help your morning go smoothly and to ensure your child has the most enjoyable experience possible, we have put together some lists of helpful hints, reminders, and things to bring. Each camp has its own downloadable list so you can print out and post on your refrigerator for easy reference. We hope you find this helpful!

High Mountain Kids Camp

3- and 4-year-olds | Downhill Ski Area

  • Please be present to sign-in your child at 9 a.m. and out at 12 p.m. at the Downhill Ski Area parking lot.
  • Please do not send any money to camp with your child. If they would like to purchase anything at a snack bar we ask that they wait until after camp.
  • Be sure to apply waterproof sunscreen and bug spray daily before arriving to camp.
  • Your child should have: a backpack, water bottle, snack, lunch (if signed up for the extended day, 12-2 p.m., participants must bring a lunch), sunscreen, and hat on a daily basis. Please check with your counselors at pick up each day for anything else they may need for the following day.
  • Pick up and drop off locations may vary. Be sure to check with your child’s counselors at pick up for any changes. Wednesday drop off and pick up is at the Beach Club Marina.  Parking is limited and strictly enforced, please park in designated spaces only.  Do NOT park in boat/trailer spaces.
  • Please keep sick children at home as illness spreads quickly amongst staff and other campers.  The Tahoe Donner Association Day Camp refund policy will be enforced for this circumstance.
  • Each day includes crafts, games, songs and tons of fun!

Explorers

5-year-olds | Downhill Ski Area

Club Tahoe Donner

8- and 9-year-olds | Northwoods Clubhouse

Donner Lake Adventure Camp

10- and 12-year-olds | Beach Club Marina

  • Please be present to sign-in your child at 9:30 am and out at 3:30 pm at our Donner Lake Clubhouse (located at the end of the parking lot at the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina). Wednesday ‘Beach Day’ drop off and pick up will be at 9:00am and 3:00pm.  Parking is limited and strictly enforced, please park in designated spaces only.  Do NOT park in boat/trailer spaces.
  • Please do not send any money to camp with your child. If they would like to purchase anything at a snack bar we ask that they wait until after camp.

C.I.L.T. (Campers in Leadership Training)

13- and 14-year-olds | Beach Club Marina

  • Please have your camper present to sign-in by 9:30 am and pick up at 4:00 pm at our Donner Lake Clubhouse (located at the end of the parking lot at the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina).
  • Daily pick up and drop off locations may vary.  Be sure to check with your leader at pick up for any changes. Wednesday ‘Beach Day’ drop off and pick up will be at 8:45am and 3:30pm.  Parking is limited and strictly enforced, please park in designated spaces only.  Do NOT park in boat/trailer spaces.
  •  Please do not bring money to camp. If you would like to purchase anything at a snack bar we ask that you wait until after camp.
  • Campers should apply waterproof sunscreen and bug spray daily before arriving to camp.
  • You should bring: a backpack, water bottle, hearty lunch, sunscreen, swim suit, towel, and hat on a daily basis. Please check with your leaders at pick up each day for anything else that may be needed for the following day.
  • Please stay home if you are sick.   Illness spreads quickly amongst staff and other campers.  The Tahoe Donner Association Day Camp refund policy will be enforced for this circumstance.
  • CILT participants will spend Monday and Friday doing leadership and outdoor skills training.  Tuesday through Thursday will be spent gaining hands on counseling experience in our camps.
