Tahoe Donner prides itself on our ideal terrain for learning located right outside the lodge and for its team of friendly, talented Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) certified cross country Ski Instructors.

Our Ski School team is the most highly qualified and trained in the region, and our instructors love to welcome new people to the sport, as well as help experienced skiers fine-tune their technique for more grace and efficiency.

We offer a variety of ways for you to learn the traditional “classic” or more advanced Ski Skating styles, including:

• Private Lessons and Private Lesson Packages (midweek non holiday)
• Programs offering 4 weekly sessions for optimal learning
• And “pop up” clinics for technique and ski waxing and care taught by local XC ski experts

Lessons, day passes and rentals are best purchased online through ShopTD. Same-day purchases can be made; however, trail passes and lessons often sell out.
