Chipping Crews Make Great Strides
The chipping crews continued to operate at maximum performance with both chip crews running six-days per week. Streets chipped last week (July 31 through August 4) included the following streets:

  • Bolzano, Innsbruck, Weishorn, Heidi, St. Moritz, Solvang, Peregrine, Gyrfalcon, Hillside, St. Croix, Oberwald and Wolfgang.

For the week of August 7, planned chipping includes:

  • Alder Creek Road, Stockholm, Parsinn, Andermatt, Oslo, Tyrol and Skiview Loop.

Tahoe Donner’s chipping program is a complimentary service. Request chipping permits here.

Firewood for Sale: $50/Cord
Tahoe Donner has plenty of firewood wood for sale consisting primarily of Red fir, White fir, and a small amount of Jeffery and Lodgepole pine. The wood yard will be open on select Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. The next open days are August 25 and 26. For more information, contact our forestry department at 530-587-9432.

Defensible Space Homeowner Inspections
Forestry staff began re-inspections in Units 6 and portions of 7. If your home is in the inspection cycle area and you have questions regarding the identified defensible space work needing completion, please contact the Forestry department by calling 530-587-9432 or email forestry@tahoedonner.com.
