The draft 2030 General Plan is a document compiled by the General Plan Committee with extensive input from Tahoe Donner homeowners, the board of directors and staff.
On Saturday, March 19, 2011, the Tahoe Donner Board of Directors reviewed the draft 2030 General Plan, approving the first five years of the plan and conditionally approving the remaining fifteen years. Each of the items outlined in the plan will now begin a detailed scoping process, which will include several opportunities for members to review facility designs and budgets before each individual project is approved by the board. The board and staff expect that the plan will be a living document that is adjusted every year to reflect market conditions and updated priorities.
Stay tuned to Tahoe Donner’s web site, email newsletter and the Tahoe Donner News magazine for the latest information on each of these projects. You can look forward to more financial details, drawings of new facilities, and meeting times when each project will be discussed. The next five years will be very busy as we continue increasing value in our amenities for improved experiences for each homeowner, family member, and their guests.
