Improvements at Beach Club Marina
Scope; As conceived in the 2030 General Plan and approved by the board of directors, the project and improvements are designed to better accommodate the utilization of the Beach Club Marina by our membership, while also solving disability access concerns for the marina deck and upper lawn picnic area. Expansion of the upper picnic area will involve thinning the existing trees on the upper lawn in keeping with the project design and healthy forest management practices. Upon necessary approvals from the Board and Town agencies, expansion of the existing upper picnic area lawn, deck area outside the snack bar and beach is scheduled to start in 2013.

The draft initial study and mitigated negative declaration for the planned marina improvements are now open to public review and comment (see pdf attachment below), and will be reviewed at the Planning Commission meeting held April 16th at 6:00 pm.
