Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center
One of America’s premier Nordic skiing facilities. Do you love skiing through pines and aspens, climbing steep peaks or gentle rolling hills? Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
Known in the Lake Tahoe region as the “best place to begin.” Three carpet lifts and world-class instructional staff make it a great place for learning to ski or ride. It is a relaxed, family-friendly environment with lots of fun special events.
Snowplay
Located on a hill next to the Trout Creek Recreational Center, this is a perfect place for sledding and tubing. Try our tasty donuts at the Food Truck at the steps of the snowplay entrance.
Tahoe Donner Golf Course
The highest elevation course in Tahoe is known for the best greens in the region. Warm up on the driving range, test your talents on the challenging course and unwind afterward at The Lodge.
Alder Creek Adventure Center
Tahoe Donner’s newest amenity, with its spectacular lodge architecture, houses the cross country ski area in the winter and the equestrian and bike operations in the summer. The Alder Creek Cafe and Trailside Bar, located inside, serve freshly made salads, soups, and sandwiches plus refreshing beverages and coffee. In the summer, the facility offers parking to those accessing the nearby trailheads.
Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center
Enjoy trail rides, pony rides, private lessons, horsemanship boarding, Saturday Night BBQs and other special events. Its wide range of services will meet the needs of most recreational horseback riders.
Bikeworks
Tahoe Donner Bikeworks offers outdoor exploration through guided rides, kids bike camps, bike rentals and more on its extensive trail system. With a home base at the Alder Creek Adventure Center, Bikeworks offers easy access into the pristine Euer Valley.
Tahoe Donner Trail System
Over 60 miles of trails and fire service roads cover approximately 3,474 acres of epic, wild terrain. Many species of animals can be seen, including quail, grouse, squirrels, rabbits, marmots, beavers, deer, mountain lions and black bear. Hikers, bikers and equestrians cherish this incredible natural resource.
Tahoe Donner Campground
Tucked away in a quiet location along the banks of Alder Creek, it has everything from tent sites to RV sites with electricity and water to hot showers. Campers can enjoy volleyball, ping pong, horseshoes and more plus free WiFi access for those who still want to stay connected to the outside world.

RESTAURANTS
All Tahoe Donner restaurants are open to the public.
The Lodge Restaurant & Pub
Set in a sophisticated space with a relaxed attitude, the Lodge sits adjacent to a beautiful golf course. Excellent food and drinks, superior service and surprisingly low prices make it a Truckee favorite for lunch, dinner and banquet events.
Pizza on the Hill
Located in the Northwoods Clubhouse, it offers quality pizza, burritos, quesadillas and a fully stocked bar. Besides the fact that pizza is involved, kids love it for the game room, playground and nearby swimming pool. Adults love the laid-back vibe and great prices.
Alder Creek Cafe and Trailside Bar
Taking a page from the healthy outdoor activities just outside the doors of the facility, the Alder Creek Cafe menu items are designed for the fitness-minded outdoor enthusiast. A local lunch favorite, the cafe offers organic, seasonal and locally sourced meats and produce when possible. A new menu is offered every season, and during high season, fresh baked goods are available daily, including gluten-free choices. The Trailside Bar offers a variety of unique drafts and bottled beers as well as a diverse wine list with a number of eco-friendly choices with happy hour specials and occasional live music performances.
PRIVATE AMENITIES
Trout Creek Recreational Center
A state-of-the-art fitness facility offers a weight room, cardio room, fitness classes, recreation pool, lap pool, steam room, dry sauna and spas. At Trout Creek Recreation Center, you can work up a sweat or soak in the hot tub after a day of play in the mountains. Little ones will enjoy a modern playground with plenty of fun features. Swim lessons are available during the summer season.
Tahoe Donner Tennis Center
Everything you need to fulfill all your tennis needs is right here, including open play, adult and junior clinics, a pro shop, professional racket stringing, lessons, events and more.
Beach Club Marina
Located on Donner Lake, witness stunning views and a friendly atmosphere. A boat ramp, sandy beach, changing rooms and café are among the offered facilities. Stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfers, and Hobie sailboats are available for rent. Special events are held all summer.

Join us at the Rec Hut for archery clinics, rock climbing clinics, and archery private lessons.
