The Sierra Sun published a story about two people facing possession of stolen property charges after they were arrested this week on suspicion of being involved in a rash of vehicle burglaries in Tahoe Donner. According to a Tuesday evening press release from the Truckee Police Department, several thefts deemed “crimes of opportunity” by officers occurred overnight from unlocked vehicles in Tahoe Donner during the Thanksgiving weekend.
