Aug. 22: Movie Nights Friday Nights

Order pizza from Pizza on The Hill and sit back and get cozy with the family while enjoying a movie on our big screen at the Northwoods Clubhouse. Friday Family Movie Night takes place at 6:30 p.m. every Friday at Northwoods Clubhouse. Movies are rated G and PG.

Aug. 23-24: Pam Krone Memorial USTA NTRP Tennis Tournament

The sixth annual Pam Krone Memorial Tournament will take place this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23-24. This is an exciting USTA NTRP tournament held at the Tahoe Donner Tennis Center. Come on out and view the event! Court times will be limited to evening play for non-tournament players. Aug.23-24: Bikeworks Kids Camp

These two-day camps at Bikeworks run from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and Sundays. They are open to kids ages 10 to 18 who can ride a bike for 1.5 hours at a time. We will focus on providing a fun, safe environment where kids can improve their general mountain biking skills while exploring the trails of Tahoe Donner. Our guides have years of experience teaching kids to become better riders. Cost for the camp is $80 per child. Call 530-582-9694 to sign up or for more information.



Music on the Porch Every Wednesday

Enjoy the sounds of summer with Music on the Porch at The Lodge Restaurant & Pub featuring live music by a different artist every Wednesday on The Porch from 6-9 p.m.

The Lodge Restaurant & Pub is open for lunch seven days a week from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. with full summer lunch menu.

Pizza on The Hill  Open Seven Days a Week

Pizza on the Hill is now open daily from 5-8:30 p.m. Bring the family and enjoy a summer evening dining out on our outdoor patio. Open Saturdays and Sundays 3-8:30 p.m.

Happy Hour at Pizza on The Hill

A great way to quench your thirst after a day enjoying the outdoors! Get $3 Coors Light drafts, $4 seasonal draft beers, $4 house cabernet or chardonnay by the glass at Happy Hour Monday-Thursday from 5-6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 3-5 p.m.


Monday Bingo

Enjoy Monday night bingo on the lawn each week outside Northwoods Clubhouse from 6:30-8 p.m. Bring a blanket, enjoy a pizza and play for fun prizes.

Aug. 23: Rock Climbing

Enjoy a challenging and fun morning of rock climbing with North American Ski Training Center (NASTC). All levels welcome. This event will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for $40 per person. Call 530-587-9413 to sign up or for more information. . A minimum of five people to hold the clinic (15 person maximum) and advanced registration is required.

Aug. 30: Summer Concert Series

Join us at the Northwoods Clubhouse as part of our Summer Concert Series to enjoy an evening of outdoor music by The Second Floor Blues Band. Bring a picnic or purchase food from Pizza on the Hill. Concert is from 5-7 p.m. For more information call 530-587-9400, ext. 0.

Aug. 30: Invasive Weed Pull

Join Friends of Tahoe Donner Trails on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. for a family-friendly invasive weed pull atop the Tahoe Donner Ski Hill. This year we’re targeting baby, first year bull thistle rosettes, so they don’t mature into second year monsters next summer. They’re easy to uproot, but not always easy to spot. So bring a keen eye and your favorite weeding tool, and join us on this natural scavenger hunt. This will be a fun event for all ages, and a genuine service to the natural environment here in Tahoe Donner. For all the details, please visit

Aug. 30: Used Bike Sale Starts

The annual Tahoe Donner used rental bike sale takes place Aug. 30-Sept. 8. Stop by Bikeworks during regular business hours, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. to shop for Giant bikes (no more than two seasons old).

Starting Sept. 1: New Fall Golf Special

We are offering a Drive & Dine golf special starting at $67 for Tahoe Donner members, $77 for guests, or $87 for public. Play 18 holes with a shared cart and get a $20 food credit at The Lodge Restaurant & Pub. Valid for golf play any day beginning Sept. 2 after 1 p.m. daily; food credit must be used the same day. Trout Creek Pool Hours

The Trout Creek Recreation Pool is open daily from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Starting Monday, Sept. 1, the pool returns to modified seasonal hours and will be open weekdays from 3-7 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Trout Creek Pool will close for the season after Sunday, Sept. 28.

Marco Polo Grill Hours

Open 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily through Aug. 24 and closed Aug. 25-Aug. 28. Marco Polo Grill re-opens for Labor Day weekend Aug. 30 - Sept. 1 and is closed for the season after Sept. 1.

Northwoods Pool Hours

As of today, the Northwoods Pool is closed through Friday, Aug. 22, and will reopen for the weekend, Aug. 23 and 24, as well as for Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30- Sept.1, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Northwoods pool will close for the season after Monday, Sept. 1.

Beach Club Marina

The Marina hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m. daily, and the Marina Grill is open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. A limited snack bar menu and new operating hours will start beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2, and the Beach Club Marina will be open from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily. The final day of operations is Sunday, Oct. 5. Members must have their kayaks out of storage by Oct. 5.
