It’s Memorial Day Weekend… Time to get outside and have fun!
Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the beginning of the summer vacation season as Americans celebrate with a long weekend complete with barbecues and outdoor fun. At Tahoe Donner it’s time to break out the golf clubs, tennis rackets, mountain bikes and swimsuits. The mountain biking trails are in prime condition, the tennis center is in full swing and the season openings for the golf course, Beach Club Marina and Trout Creek Recreation Pool take place this weekend.

Golf Course Open as of Friday, May 24
The golf course preview opening took place the weekend of May 17-19 unveiling excellent conditions. The golf course is now open full-time, seven days a week, for the season. We’ve made some improvements for summer 2013 with a newly remodeled and expanded golf pro shop, larger snack bar and new fleet of Club Car golf carts, plus a new beverage cart. Reservations can be made 12 days in advance (14 days for Tahoe Donner members) by calling 530-587-9443, ext. 3, or by visiting us online at tahoedonner.com/golf. The Beach Club Marina Open as of Friday, May 24
The marina is open for the summer season! Daily operating hours for May 24 – Sept. 2 are 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. Visit the Beach Club Marina page on our website for more information.
Trout Creek Recreation Pool Opens Saturday, May 25
The Trout Creek Recreation Pool is open for the season Saturday (May 25). May 25-26 the pool will be open 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. From May 27-June 13 (Memorial Day through the end of 2013 TTUSD school year), the pool will be open on weekdays from 3-7 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. For more information, see the Aquatics page of our website.
Memorial Day Weekend Tennis Season Kick-off and French Open Tribute
Lace up your sneakers and grab your racquet as we kick off the season in style. This tennis club sponsored event gets you out on the courts for a great afternoon of team tennis. The exciting format will have you buzzing from court to court and match to match as you fight for every game to help your team to victory.
Date: Saturday, May 25
Round Robin: 2 – 5 p.m.
BBQ and Potluck: 5 p.m.
