Stored Value

Does the term Stored Value mean anything to you while you’re at Tahoe Donner? Did you know you can put money on your Tahoe Donner Membership ID cards? It is called Stored Value. You no longer have to carry money or your credit card with you when you visit Tahoe Donner’s amenities. It’s very easy to put value (money) on your card. You can come into the Member Services office with your credit card and Tahoe Donner staff can put the money on your card for you. Or you can call them at (530) 587-9400 ext. 0.

To redeem your stored value, simply tell the Tahoe Donner staff that you have Stored Value on your Tahoe Donner Member or Guest ID card. Your receipt will display the balance left on the ID card.

Remember to always take your Tahoe Donner Member or Guest ID card with you to use stored value at the amenities. This program was introduced last summer and received rave reviews and participation. So, don’t worry about carrying your wallet, stored value and your membership ID or Guest card is all you need this summer at your personal resort.

I-Did-A-Run

The eighth annual Tahoe Donner I-Did-A-Run returns to Snowfest, with a new front runner Donner Bear, the Bernese mountain dog.

Bring your own dog or come cheer on all the pooches behind the Lodge Restaurant & Pub on Sunday, March 11. Registration begins at 12 p.m. Race starts at 1 p.m.

Race fee is $20 with proceeds going to the Truckee Tahoe Humane Society. Prizes will be awarded for the speediest finishers. All participants receive a “doggie bag” containing treats and goodies.

There will be five categories based on the weight of the dog:

  • Puppy (not eligible for the overall win)
  • 0-25 lbs.
  • 26-50 lbs.
  • 51-75 lbs.
  • 76 lbs. and up

Here’s a hint or two for pet owners: you can bribe your pooch with anything and everything on race day, but remember pulling your canine during the race will disqualify your dog.

Raffle tickets for great prizes to benefit the Truckee Tahoe Humane Society will be sold at the event. Tickets are $1 each and winners do not have to be present to win.

The snack bar and pub will open at 11:30 a.m. The Pub opens for food service at 2:30 p.m. with happy hour specials.

For more information about the I-Did-A-Run, please contact Ali Kovach at (530) 587-9424.
