One of the benefits of a mild winter is getting in some golf earlier than usual. After last year’s mid-June debut for golf operations, Tahoe Donner this year is getting the ball rolling in mid-May. The snow has melted, grass is growing and the driving range opened for business on Friday, May 11.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on that opening day, customers at the driving range will enjoy the opportunity to receive free 10 minute golf instruction from a Professional Golfers Association (PGA) pro. Grab a bucket of balls and work on that swing early this year!
Tahoe Donner also offers something for kids to do while their parents are working on their swing. Members of the Tahoe Donner Association and their guests may leave their children ages 3 months to 8 years at the adjacent Trout Creek Recreation Center in the Kids Club program, Monday – Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
