Accepting Walk-In Submittals on Fridays Starting Sept. 7
Architectural Standards, Association News, Member News, Northwoods ClubhouseThe Architectural Standards Office (ASO) now accepts walk-in application submittals for Minor Projects (see below list) every Friday from 9AM-1PM through November 2, 2018.
Walk-in application submittals will be accepted on first-come, first-serve basis.
What Projects Are Eligible for Walk-In Submittal?
General Requirements
- A site plan is required if a new footprint is proposed.
- Elevation plans are required for design changes to structures (photos may be accepted in lieu of elevation plans – contact ASO for details).
- Projects must not encroach into a required setback or easement.
- Projects must not require neighbor notification.
The types of projects included in “Walk-In Fridays” include the following:
Minor Projects
- Rear Decks & Lower Level Deck Extensions
- Deck Railing Changes & Stairs
- Driveway & Parking Pads
- Siding & Wainscot
- Windows (With Size Changes)
- Doors (With Size Changes)
- Hot Tub (New Footprint)
- Mudroom
- Chimney
- Commercial Sign
- Walkway, Patio, Fire Pits
- Landscaping, Retaining Walls, & Drainage
- Solar Panels
- Custom Built Garbage Enclosures
- Other
Maintenance Projects (Monday-Saturday walk-in)
- Animal Resistant Garbage Can Enclosures (ARGCE)
- Roof & Gutter Changes
- Exterior Lighting Changes
- Paint / Stain Color Changes
- Roof Paint Color Changes
- Window Changes (No Size Changes)
- Door Changes
- Hot Tub (On / Under Existing Structure)
- Air Conditioner / Generator (On / Under Existing Structure)
- Skylight
