The Beach Club Marina is Open Daily
As of June 8, the boat launch is open for use. Before launching, please make sure all of your required paperwork and stickers are in order. Details below.
Members who wish to launch a trailered vessel at the Beach Club Marina are required to register the vessel with Tahoe Donner.
Once your registration is complete, a sticker will be issued which you will present to the marina staff at time of launch. Marina staff will direct you on where to affix your sticker on your boat.
There are three ways to register your vessel:
You may download a copy of the agreement form or register online.
• The launch area will be staffed with personnel dedicated to direct traffic and monitor activity in the launch area. Please follow the directions of the ramp monitor at all times.
• Launching and loading your vessel requires two people. Solo launching/loading is not permitted. There must be two people: one to observe the ramp and launch zone for pedestrians and other hazards, and the other to manage the tow vehicle. Marina staff may not drive either the vessel or the tow vehicle, nor may they be the observation person.
• All members or guests on board are charged a daily access fee, even if they do not plan to use other Beach Club facilities.
Again, please feel free to contact the Beach Club manager, Ali Kovach, at 530-587-9460 with any questions concerning the changes to the launch policies.
Truckee watershed stakeholders saw the need to initiate the development of a regional approach to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) such as the quagga mussel, New Zealand mudsnail and Eurasian watermilfoil. Stopping the spread of AIS is being accomplished through a collaborative process that includes watercraft inspections, education & outreach and early detection monitoring. The Truckee Regional Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program (TRAISPP) is supported by recreational users, environmental groups, local, state and federal government agencies.
ATTENTION BOATERS: Watercraft inspections are mandatory for all boats launching on Donner Lake. Inspections are provided at several locations through a partnership with the Tahoe Inspection Program.
Starting May 17, you may take your boat to be inspected at the Truckee-Tahoe Inspection Station, off Highway 267 and Truckee Airport Road, on Chandelle Way. There is also an inspection station at the bottom of Alpine Meadows Road, open now, off Highway 89/River Road. See hours, a map and information on all Lake Tahoe inspection locations. It is recommended that you clean, drain and dry your vessel before arriving at the inspection station. For questions, please contact the Lake Tahoe and Truckee Boat Inspection Program at email@example.com or 888-824-6267.
