Whether you’re in Tahoe Donner or exploring the Truckee community and Donner Lake this Fourth of July, there is much to do this Independence Day holiday week! Celebrate starting this week with one or more of the following events.

COMMUNITY EVENTS + ACTIVITIES JUNE 28 THROUGH JULY 7

Free Shuttle to Truckee Thursdays | June 28
Forget the parking headaches and leave the car behind. Enjoy one of Truckee’s most iconic summer events hassle-free with complimentary shuttles from Trout Creek Recreation Center to Downtown Truckee and back, with service available approximately every 15 minutes.

Women’s Introduction to Mountain Biking | June 30-July 1
Join other women for a weekend of mountain biking focused on riding skills, communication and trail etiquette.
Time: 9AM-12PM
Location: Tahoe Donner Bikeworks

Truckee 4th of July Parade | July 4
Join the community the annual Independence Day parade. Keep your eye out for the Tahoe Donner float!
Time: 10AM- 1PM
Location: Donner Pass Rd. from the Fire station through Downtown Truckee.

Waterpalooza |  July 4 
Gather your family, call your friends and put on your swimsuit for the return of Waterpalooza, a day of fun water games and activities to help you stay cool in the heart of summer.
Time: Noon-4PM
Location: Tahoe Donner Driving Range

Beach Club Marina Fun with Fireworks |  July 4
Enjoy the day at Tahoe Donner’s Beach Club Marina and stick around to watch the fireworks. Tahoe Donner will be providing complimentary shuttle service to the beach from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area parking lots starting at noon. For Tahoe Donner members and guests.
Time: 7AM-After the Fireworks

Cowgirls + Cocktails | July 5
Cowgirls and cowboys are invited to gather for an early evening trail ride followed by a social hour with beer, wine and appetizers.
Time: 5-7PM

8th Annual Summer Concert on the Green | July 6-7
Celebrate two nights of live music under the stars featuring energetic performances, local food vendors, beer + wine,  kids activities and more! Friday night is sold out. Tickets on sale now for Saturday and going fast!
Time: Doors 4PM. Music 6-10PM.
Location: Tahoe Donner Driving Range

Pancakes and Ponies | July 7 
Bring the little ones for a fun Saturday morning with a hearty breakfast followed by a 15-minute pony ride.
Time: 9-11AM
Location: Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center

Margarita Madness Pro Exhibition | July 7
Sit back, relax and watch the pros go to work as they battle it out on the court for your viewing pleasure. Available to Tahoe Donner members and their guests.
Time: 3PM
Location: Tahoe Donner Tennis Center

Rock Climbing Clinic | July 7
Climbers of all levels are welcome at this challenging and fun morning of rock climbing with professional guides on Donner Summit.
Time: 9:30AM-12:30PM
