As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, operations at Trout Creek Recreation Center have been adjusted in strict accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health. Thank you for exercising caution when using Trout Creek Recreation Center.

REC CENTER RESERVATION + ACCESS PROCEDURES

Your safety is Tahoe Donner’s number one priority. To ensure your safety with adequate social distancing and to maximize your opportunity to enjoy the Trout Creek Recreation Center during this unprecedented time of COVID-19, access to this facility will TEMPORARILY require reservations and be limited in both volume and duration. Trout Creek Recreation Center will be divided into service areas, and reservations will be required for each service area.

CURRENT SERVICE AREAS AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATION ACCESS:

  • Gym (fitness and strength equipment)
  • Lap Pool

THE FOLLOWING REC CENTER ELEMENTS WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

  • Spas
  • Steam room
  • Sauna
  • Showers
  • Lockers (changing area)
  • Fitness classes
  • Swim lessons
  • Playground
  • Kid’s Club
  • Basketball court

COVID-19 TROUT CREEK GYM AND LAP POOL RESERVATION DIRECTIONS:

  • GYM RESERVATIONS available from 6AM-9:30PM | Reservations required for anyone wanting to use the Gym
    • Reservation duration is 1 hour 30 minutes
  • LAP POOL RESERVATIONS available from 6AM-7PM | Reservations required for anyone wanting to use the Lap Pool
    • Reservation duration is 45 minutes
  • Before each reservation period, all service areas will be cleared and all equipment, surfaces and furniture will be sanitized
  • Reservations can be made up to two days in advance
    • MEMBERS: Reservation window opens at 8AM two days prior
    • GUESTS: Reservation window opens at 12PM two days prior
  • Limitations: Members can book reservations for up to eight members on their property, plus up to four guests
    • Guests can book reservations for up to four people
    • One reservation time per day; no back-to-back or multiple reservations per day
  • Trout Creek SERVICE AREA Access Fees:
    • Members with paid Rec Fee: $0
    • Members without paid Rec Fee, ages 7 and older: $9
    • Accompanied guests, ages 7 and older: $11
    • Unaccompanied guests, ages 7 and older: $16
    • Children 6 and under: $0
    • Fees subject to change
    • THE ACCESS FEE APPLIES ONLY TO THE AREA FOR WHICH YOU MADE YOUR RESERVATION.
      • A reservation for the Gym does not grant you access to the Lap Pool, and vice versa
  • All reservation sales are final – no refunds; please check the weather forecast before you make a reservation
  • Reservation no-shows may result in the association restricting your ability to make reservations in the future
  • Reservation policies may change

MAKE RESERVATIONS AT SHOPTD:

  • All reservation sales are final – no refunds; please check the weather forecast before you make a reservation
  • Log into your existing account OR follow the directions to create a new account:
    • Members: If creating a new account, you will need your member number that can be found on your member card; if you experience issues, please contact Member Services at info@tahoedonner.com or (530) 587-9400, ext. 0
    • Guests: Create a new account by clicking “My Account” in the top right corner, then “Create New Account” and follow the prompts
  • Once logged in, click the “Trout Creek” tab under the photo on the ShopTD home page
  • Select “Trout Creek Access” from the drop-down menu
  • Select which service area you would like to visit – Gym or Lap Pool
  • Select day of desired reservation up to two days in advance, then click “Search”
  • Choose desired time from the drop-down menu
  • Select the product(s) you would like to purchase
  • Select the quantity of the product(s) you are purchasing
  • Complete the check-out process

RESERVATION ARRIVAL PROCESS:

  • Arrive for your reservation no earlier than five minutes ahead of time
  • Members with reservations MUST present a valid member photo-ID card or mobile pass for each member reservation; one card per person, except children ages 6 and under.
    • Member accompanied guests MUST be accompanied by a member at the front counter.
    • Unaccompanied guests MUST present one valid transferable guest card per four unaccompanied guests at the front counter.
  • Any incorrect access products purchased will be corrected at the gate after all other patrons are permitted access. At that point, the staff person will assist you in updating your reservation and/or collecting appropriate fees. IF NO REMEDY CAN BE MADE, THE STAFF PERSON MAY ALSO DENY ACCESS.

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE ARE TEMPORARY COVID-19 POLICIES. WE ARE WORKING HARD TO PROVIDE SAFE AMENITY ACCESS TO AS MANY MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS AS POSSIBLE.

TROUT CREEK RECREATION CENTER ENTRANCE, CHECK-IN + EXIT

  • If you or someone in your group are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, do not use the facility.
  • When entering and exiting the Rec Center, please wear a mask.
  • Line up along the ADA ramp running in front of the Gym side of the building. Arrive no more than five minutes prior to your reservation.
  • Members and guests will need their member card or guest cards to enter the facility.
  • Once checked in, members and guests will proceed to the service area, maintaining appropriate social distance and staying to the right side of any hallway area.
  • To exit, please stay to the right as you leave the facility.
  • There will be no loitering at the Trout Creek Recreation Center prior to and after access.

RESTROOM USAGE, WATER FOUNTAINS + TOWELS

  • If you or someone in your group are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, do not use the facility.
  • Restrooms will be open and available for use, but please practice social distancing as we are asking that only one person at a time utilize the restroom. Please wash and/or sanitize your hands before and after entering and exiting the restroom. Also, the wearing of face masks in restrooms is required, as the flushing of toilets and urinals can aerosolize particles.
  • The water fountain for drinking will be unavailable for use.
  • The water bottle filling station will be operational. Please use your key, a pencil or something other than your finger to activate the dispenser. If you use your finger, please wash your hands or use available hand sanitizer.
  • You must bring your own water bottles to Trout Creek. No loaner, paper or plastic cups will be available on site.
  • Bring your own towel, as sweat towels will be available for Gym users only. NO LARGER TOWELS WILL BE PROVIDED.

GENERAL ACCESS RULES

  • If you or someone in your group are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, do not use the facility.
  • Always practice social distancing while working out, entering and exiting the facility, on access paths and in the parking lot.
  • Do not leave any trash, clothing, equipment or personal belongings behind, as these items will be thrown out.
  • Follow best hygiene practices. No spitting or snot rockets are allowed anywhere at Trout Creek at any time. Please bring a tissue, towel, hanky or old t-shirt if you feel the need to engage in these activities.
  • Do not handle any other person’s belongings.
  • Please remember to not touch your face once you have entered the Rec Center unless you have washed your hands or used either your own or the provided hand sanitizer.
  • Wearing a mask at all times is required.

GYM RULES

    • If you or someone in your group are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, do not use the facility.
    • Always practice social distancing while in the facility.
    • Follow best hygiene practices. Wash/sanitize hands frequently, avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth and cough or sneeze into your elbow.
    • During this time, the Rec Center will not be providing loaner exercise equipment like mats, foam rollers, BOSU balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and jump ropes. Please bring and leave with your own equipment. Any personal items left behind will be thrown out.
    • Cleaning equipment before and after use is mandatory.
    • If you observe someone failing to follow these procedures, please report it to the front desk staff.
    • Staff will give you a 15-minute warning prior to the end of your session.
    • No changing, showering or locker usage will be available.
    • Failure to follow these procedures may result in loss of amenity usage privilege.


LAP POOL RULES

  • If you or someone in your group are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, do not use the facility.
  • Arrive in your swimwear. No changing facilities are available.
  • Bring your own towel. No shower/swim towels will be provided.
  • During this time, the Rec Center will not be providing loaner equipment like goggles, sunscreen or towels. Please bring and leave with your own items. Any personal items left behind will be disposed of.
  • Remove the clip from any deck furniture you use or touch and place in the dirty bin. This indicates to guests and staff that this piece of furniture is being used. Do not sit on or use any furniture that does not have a clip attached to it.
  • Follow best hygiene practices. No spitting or snot rockets are allowed anywhere on the pool deck at any time. Wash/sanitize hands frequently, avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth and cough or sneeze into your elbow.
  • Two people maximum per lane. Stops between lap sets must take place at opposite ends of the pool from one another.
  • If you observe someone failing to follow these procedures, please report it to the front desk staff.
  • Staff will give you a 15-minute warning prior to the end of your session
  • No changing, showering or locker usage will be available.
  • Failure to follow these procedures will result in loss of amenity usage privilege.
