Closure of Amenities and FacilitiesAssociation News, Featured
MARCH 19 UPDATE
Governor Gavin Newsom has issued a state-wide ‘mandatory stay at home’ order. With this news, we must cease grooming and patrolling the XC Ski trails. We understand the importance of this to our community, however the Executive Order (N-33-20) clearly states “…all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence except as needed to maintain continuing of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors.” Unfortunately groomers and ski patrollers do not fit into this exception and the XC operation must come to a complete close.
The order does allow leaving the home for food, prescriptions and health care, but caution to practice social distancing all the time. Please read the complete Executive Order for more information.
We appreciate all of the support in operating this week and we are grateful to have served our community.
The health and safety of our staff and members remains our top priority. At this time, Tahoe Donner will make the following amenity closures. We will continue to closely monitor emerging information from the CDC and California Department of Health and evaluate future operations as we have more information.
