Please note: we previously advertised we would take advance questions beginning at 5:30PM; however, we have updated the meeting format and no longer need to take questions in advance. The meet and greet will begin at 6PM.
Each candidate will have their own Zoom meeting room simultaneously and links to each can be found below.
The entire meet and greet session will last 90 minutes, and you are free to join and leave meeting rooms as you please, listen and ask questions of candidates. As you enter a meeting, you will be muted but may use the Raise Hand feature to be called on for questions. ZOOM MEETING TIPS AND ETIQUETTE
- Raise your hand to be called on to speak.
By utilizing the Raise Hand feature, the meeting host can call on participants to ask questions and avoid people talking over each other. To raise your hand, click the button labeled “Raise Hand.” You can lower your hand by clicking the same button, now labeled “Lower Hand.” You can locate the raise hand button by clicking on participants at the bottom of your screen, and then below the list of participants you will see the raise hand button.
- Please mute your microphone if you are not the person currently speaking.
Background noise can be distracting. To mute your microphone, select the microphone icon in the bottom left corner of the Zoom screen. When the icon has a slash through it, it's muted. To unmute yourself, click the microphone icon again.
- Please recognize video quality can be impacted by your internet bandwidth.
If you experience low quality, consider disabling your video and only attending through audio. If you share your internet with other members in your home, reducing the number of internet users during the time of the conference may improve your internet speed.
- Install Zoom ahead of time if possible.
If you have never used Zoom on your device, you will need to install it. Click https://zoom.us/download and follow the prompts to download Zoom Client for Meetings. Log onto the meeting platform a few minutes before it begins to familiarize yourself with the layout and troubleshoot any issues that may arise with your video or sound quality.
