Beach Club Marina Deck Renovation

WHAT IS THE PROJECT?

  • The Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina Deck Renovation Project will commence on September 3, 2024.

WHY THIS PROJECT?

  • These updates will provide an improved and consolidated area for the membership to dine while at the grill area. It will also serve as a place to shelter from the elements on those hot or windy summer afternoons or to just enjoy a cocktail by the lake in the evening.

WHAT ARE THE IMPACTS?

Starting September 3, 2024, the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina will begin a deck renovation project, including a newly expanded patio seating area, permanent outdoor bar and ADA-compliant access ramps. During this time, please note the following changes:

  • Boat launch ramp will close.
  • Construction and staging areas will be fenced.
  • The building will not be accessible.
  • Temporary outdoor portable restrooms will be provided.
  • Rentals will still be available as usual.
  • Food and beverage services will not be offered.

WHAT IS THE STATUS?

  • The project was approved by the planning commission on Nov. 21, 2023.
  • Building permit has been issued.
  • Value engineering is completed.
  • The board approved construction on June 28.
  • Construction is anticipated for September 2024.

WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST?

  • The total cost approved by the board is $869,868.
