Ski Skate Week Activity Guide | February 19-27, 2022

We’re excited to celebrate Ski Skate Week Tahoe Donner style starting Saturday, February 19, through Sunday, February 27, 2022. The ski conditions have been great thanks to cold nights and pristine grooming. Don’t miss out on all of the fun events, live music and dining specials starting this weekend!

Find fun terrain for everyone in the family at the Downhill Ski Resort. Be sure to prepurchase lessons, rentals and tickets online, as we will likely sell out.

CHILDREN’S GLOW STICK PARADE + CARNIVAL
Join us for a younger version of the Torchlight Parade for kids 10 and under who can ski unassisted in the dark on Snowbird Run. Register online in advance to secure a spot and get glow sticks by playing our free carnival games! Music and snacks will be in the bar area prior to the parade.

DOWNHILL SKI BAR + GRILL
After a great day on the mountain, be sure to stop in for some delicious food and refuel. Also serving breakfast to kick-start the day. Enjoy après–ski on the beautiful sun deck while enjoying a warm soft pretzel, full-service bar and cozy fire pits.

The trails are in great shape at TDXC, with 70+ km of varied terrain for all interests and skill levels. Be sure to pre-purchase lessons, rentals + tickets online, as we will likely sell out. Find easy parking at The Lodge Restaurant & Pub and use our free shuttle service to TDXC.

LIVE MUSIC WITH DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE

SUNDAY CELEBRITY XC CLINIC
Upgrade your classic skiing technique with former US Paralympic Coach Martin Benes. In this clinic, you will learn how to be faster and more fluid when you ski.

After playing out on the snow, come grab delicious fresh doughnuts and hot coffee made right at TD Eats! Doughnuts come in a variety of different flavors, including regular and s’mores, that both kids and adults are sure to love.
