The Equestrian Center is closed for the season.
Come explore the Sierras by horseback. View forests and high mountain meadows filled with wild flowers. Catch a glimpse of the local wildlife; a deer with her young, a bear hunting for grubs or a hawk circling in the sky.
Sign the kids up for a lesson or take one yourself. Join us at a Saturday night BBQ and indulge in a customized gourmet burger while you watch the kids play dress up, roast marshmallows and take a swing at the piñata.
Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center offers a wide variety of services and activities for our visitors including:
- Trail rides
- Pony rides
- Private lessons
- Boarding
- Saturday Night BBQ’s and other special events
- Bits and Pieces tack and souvenir shop
Operating season and hours:
The Equestrian 2012 summer season will run from June 23 through September 3, conditions permitting. The facility is open for rides Thursdays – Mondays between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last rides leave at 3 p.m. Open daily for boarding operations.
Reservations/cancellations
Reservations are required for all rides. We do not accept reservations or cancellations by email. To make a reservation, call (530) 587-9470. If you get our voicemail, please leave your name and number; your call will be returned shortly. A credit card number is required to secure all reservations.
Note: There is a 24 to 72 hour cancellation policy depending on the type of ride or event you have signed up for.
