BEGINNER PROGRAMS

DISCOVER XC SKIING
The BEST way to learn about the joys of cross country skiing spread over four Sunday afternoons. Learn how to ski the flats, climb the hills, control speed on the downhills, and tour the trails with our experienced instructors. In the last session, you can also try your hand at the more advanced ski skating techniques if you wish.

Level: Beginner/Improver, with the fitness to be active for over an hour required
Day/Time: Sundays: 1-2:30PM

LEARN TO SKATE
An ideal 4-week program if you are new to skate skiing or just getting started. Our skilled instructors will help you dial in the fundamentals of correct body positioning and timing of movements to make skating efficient and fun.

Level: Some cross country or downhill skiing experience and the basic fitness to be active on skis for over an hour required
Day/Time: Mondays: 10-11:30AM

SISTERS IN SKATING – BEGINNERS
A group just for women to ski together and discover the fun of skate skiing under the careful guidance of our best female instructors. To make it even easier to get started, the price of this 4-week program includes a trail pass and rentals for the sessions if needed.

Level: Some cross country or downhill skiing experience and the fitness to be active on skis for over an hour required
Day/Time: Tuesdays: 10-11:30AM

SENIORS – LEARN TO SKI
Open to skiers 60yrs+, the focus of this group is to learn traditional-style cross country skiing and improve at your own pace. To make it easy to get started, the price of this 4-week program includes a trail pass and rentals if needed*.

MASTERS TRAINING GROUP – NEW!
NEW this year for skiers of all ages wishing to ‘step up’ their fitness and technique. Our coaching crew will help you set training goals, improve improve cardiovascular fitness, increase endurance and strength and maximize technique efficiency. Sign up for multiple months for the most benefit. Skating and classic equipment and trail pass/season pass required.

Level: Intermediate through expert: Must be able to comfortably ski blue trails
Day/Time: Fridays: 8:30-10AM

A group just for women to ski together and improve skate skiing under the careful guidance of our best female instructors. These 4-week programs are a fun way to improve your skiing and meet new ski friends. Ski skating equipment and trail pass/season pass required.

Level: Intermediate: able to ski green trails or more advanced terrain. Advanced: skiing blue trails and exploring black trails
Day/Time: Wednesdays: 10-11:30AM

UPHILL SKATING
Struggling on uphills and climbs? Come learn how refining basic skills for efficiency improves your skate-ski climbing. Skate skiing equipment and trail pass/season pass required.

Level: Skate skiing green and blue trails regularly

SENIORS – IMPROVERS
Open to skiers ages 60+. Designed to continue to build your skills once you have mastered the basics. The focus of this Friday morning group is to improve your traditional-style classic skiing and may include an introduction to skate skiing on the last session if requested and conditions permit.

Level: Must be able to comfortably ski beginner trails
Day/Time: Fridays: 10-11:30AM

FALL PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING GROUP

Note: This program has concluded for the season.

Start preparing for the ski season this fall. Join us for these six fun sessions to start tuning up your technique and fitness to be ready when the snow arrives. Sessions include ski-specific strengthening, interval training and technique instruction.

Level: No experience required. Basic fitness recommended
Day/Time: Saturdays: 8:30-10AM


STORM DAYS

We are a hardy bunch of coaches, but in the event of a major snow or rain event, we may decide to cancel sessions for the safety of our customers and staff. A decision to cancel will be communicated by email to you the day before the scheduled session. If we have to cancel a program session we will offer a make up session.
