LEARN TO SKATE

It’s time to learn to skate ski! These four weekly classes are designed and priced so you have no excuses. Start by learning the basic body positions and see how far you can go!

Mondays | 10-11:30AM

STRIDING/CLASSIC SKIING:  INTERMEDIATES 

Did you know it takes a lifetime to master classic XC skiing? There’s a lot more to classic skiing than walking or shuffling on skis! Join this group to find out how to grow, challenge yourself and add more fun to classic skiing.

TUESDAYS

SISTERS IN SKATING – BEGINNERS

Prefer an all-women’s group when learning to ski? Join our “sisters” to learn to skate ski. These four weekly classes are designed and priced so you have no excuses. Join us and see just how much fun ski skating can be!

SISTERS IN SKATING | ALL LEVELS

Let’s learn the secrets to bringing your skating to the next level. Whether this is your second or twenty-second season, you will be given the opportunity to become more efficient with uphill, downhill, and on flats and corners.

UPHILL SKATING

Do you love skate skiing minus the uphills? Join this group to learn specific skills that will allow you to “float” up the hills.

NORDIC DOWNHILL 101

This group is for the XC skier who has confidence in their basic XC skills but dreads the downhills. Starting with a review of the basics, grow your confidence by learning decisive speed control, basic turning skills and maybe even a hockey stop! Classic and skate skiers welcome.

Join fellow seniors to explore the quiet world of cross country skiing. Taught by our senior ‘ski whisperer’ Herb Holden and sidekick Bob Phillips, these four weekly classes are designed and priced to get you outside and having fun. Geared to the over 50s

If you loved skiing with Herb and Bob, join them again to grow your skiing skills, endurance and confidence to explore more challenging terrain and maybe skate skiing if you wish.

SUNDAYS

TEAM TDXC | INTERMEDIATES + ABOVE

Let’s get serious about technique and fitness. Come learn, practice and apply skate and classic technique improvement in weekly sessions that include instruction and interval training. Plan to have serious fun learning/training and maybe even consider entering a master’s race or two this season.  Coaches are Olympian Glenn Jobe, PSIA clinician Val Licon and Collegiate level Skier Yara Thomas
