The Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center offers a unique blend of recreation, education and wellness experiences centered around the powerful connection between humans and horses. From youth programming to advanced riding and holistic wellness workshops, TDEQ is a place for learning, connection and community. See below for all events, workshops and programs happening this summer:
Tuesdays + Wednesdays (June 16-24 + Aug. 4-Sept. 16) | 7AM, 8AM or 9AM
Sunrise at the Stables are one-hour horse-to-heart alignment sessions with Kansas Carradine. Held in the quiet stillness of the early morning, these moments offer a private, supportive environment—especially welcoming for seniors, caregivers, children and neurodivergent individuals seeking a calm, low-stimulation space. You’ll be supported in regulating your nervous system and aligning your heart and mind in the calming presence of the Tahoe Donner horses. Each intimate session is personalized and may include heart coherence techniques, somatic practices, energy work and guided reflection for integration. No riding required.
These sessions are open to all ages for a one-hour private session or a semi-private session with up to 2 participants.
