Beach Club Marina

With successful solar array installations in 2015, at Alder Creek Adventure Center and Trout Creek Recreation Center, Tahoe Donner Association aims to continue its investment in sustainable solar technology, and utilize available TDPUD solar rebates at the Beach Club Marina. With this 5.88 kW system on the rooftop of the boat house, it will produce 25,000 watts every sunny day, equivalent to the daily energy consumed in an average U.S. household. After five years, this rebate, associated tax incentives, and raw energy savings will pay for the initial capital investment, providing Tahoe Donner Association with renewable energy for decades to come.
