Cancellation Policies

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please review your reservation carefully prior to completing your transaction. Your credit card will be charged for the amount shown. Tahoe Donner cannot guarantee weather conditions, driving and road conditions, trail/snow conditions, open terrain/trails. 

Season Passes, Season Rentals and Season Locker Rentals are non-refundable and cannot be refunded, transferred to another person or season. 

Trail Passes, Rentals and Lessons are non-refundable, however may be transferred to another date under the following guidelines:

  • Trail Passes and Rentals: Reservations can be changed before 3PM two days prior to your scheduled visit, and you will receive a Mountain Money Voucher to re book your trail pass and rental equipment. (e.g., a Saturday reservation must be transferred by 3PM Thursday). Transfers are not possible for requests received after this deadline, including no-shows and late arrivals. 
  • Lessons and Lesson Packages: Reservations can be transferred to another date if requested by 3PM two days prior to your scheduled visit for a fee of $25 per lesson. Transfers are not possible for requests received after this deadline, including no-shows and late arrivals. 

In the event the Ski Center is completely closed on the date of your arrival, you will be issued a refund for the products purchased for the date of the closure. 

Cross Country Ski Programs and Clinics: If your plans change and you are no longer able to participate in the program or clinic you signed up for, you will be able to cancel and receive a refund if requested prior to the deadline for that program. Refunds will be issued in the form of ‘Mountain Money’ on your Tahoe Donner online account. Mountain Money is valid up to one year after being issued and can be used at Tahoe Donner for other programs, products and services, including restaurants. The refund amount will be the total amount you paid for the program minus a $25 administration fee. No refunds will be available after the cancellation deadlines. 

  •   Kids Programs: The deadline for cancellation for kids XC programs is Dec. 31, 2023. 
  •   Adult Programs: The deadline for cancellation for adult XC programs is up to seven days prior to the start of the program. 
  •   Adult Clinics: The deadline for cancellation for adult clinics is 3PM two days prior to the clinic.
  •   Events: The deadline for cancellation for Events (Such as New Years Eve Snowshoe Tour is 3PM two days prior to the event.
