NORTHWOODS POOL
Northwoods Pool, located in the heart of Tahoe Donner, is the place to be for family fun. Northwoods Clubhouse offers private swim lessons just steps away from the Recreation Hut, outdoor playground and Northwoods Clubhouse. Fun and relaxing features include a water slide, plenty of room for play and a sunny deck perfect for lounging. Certified lifeguards are always on duty, so grab your towel and head poolside for a day of summer fun!
Northwoods Pool is a private amenity open exclusively to Tahoe Donner members and their guests. A Daily Access Fee is required for entry.
REC HUT
The Recreation Hut at Northwoods Pool is your summer headquarters for family-friendly games and activities. Choose your own adventure with free lawn games, geocaching, bocce ball, archery, disc golf, sand volleyball, bingo and more. Join a clinic and learn something new. See all the fun summer activities offered below:
Rent gear or bring your own to our dedicated archery range. Rentals available daily for age 18+ and children with an accompanying adult. Rentals will not be available during scheduled clinics.
ARCHERY CLINICS
Join us for an engaging archery clinic perfect for all ages (starting at 7 years old)! This clinic includes a basic safety and skills session, followed by friendly competition and games. Come learn, compete and have fun in a safe and supportive environment!
PRIVATE ARCHERY LESSONS
Looking to refine your archery skills? Archery lessons include a private one-hour basic safety and skills lesson with an instructor. Archery lessons are available for anyone (starting at 7 years old) who wants to learn more about the fun sport and include a maximum of three people per private lesson.
Bring a blanket and join us on the lawn outside for free weekly bingo. Play for fun prizes!
Check out a bocce set for free at the Rec Hut from 9AM-5PM, then let it roll on one of our four bocce courts. Courts are periodically reserved for camp activities or for league play on Tuesdays starting at 3PM.
Try your luck at finding hidden treasure around Tahoe Donner on a GPS geocaching adventure. Rentals available from the Rec Hut from 9AM-5PM daily.
Toss some horseshoes in the pits behind the Northwoods Clubhouse. Free rentals from the Rec Hut from 9AM-5PM daily.
Bump, set and spike your way through an action-packed game of volleyball on the sand court behind Northwoods Clubhouse. Free rentals from the Rec Hut from 9AM-5PM daily.
Climbers of all levels are welcome to a challenging and fun morning of rock climbing with professional guides on Donner Summit. All equipment and transportation provided.
Many recreational offerings are free and open to members and guests. Other offerings require a member ID or transferable guest card for registration and fee to participate.
