Historical Kayak Tours

Explore Donner Lake by kayak. A guide will present information on the history of the lake and interesting facts about the surrounding area and its inhabitants. After an hour on the water, the group will return to Beach Club Marina, where breakfast will be served on the deck. Reservations and prepayment required; tours are weather-permitting. Sign up at tahoedonner.com/shoptd or by calling Beach Club Marina (530) 587-9460. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Private tours are available for groups of four or more when scheduled at least a week in advance.

Water Kids Club

This program introduces participants to a variety of water-oriented activities such as swimming challenges, stand up paddling, sailing, kayaking and more. Children ages 6 and older with good swimming skills are welcome to join. This program is offered on a weekly basis every Friday from 4-6PM. Space is limited; sign up online at least 24 hours in advance.

Junior Sailing Program

The Junior Sailing Program is designed for beginner to intermediate sailors ages 9-16. Each three-day session includes three hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. of instruction per day, with the majority of the time spent on the water. Classes are limited to eight students to ensure plenty of individual attention, so be sure to make your reservations early. Payment must be made at the time of reservation. Space is limited; sign up online or at the marina. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a refund.
