TRAVEL TEAM

Tahoe Donner’s Travel Team is for girls and boys ages 7-13 who have played on our team in the past and/or for those who have tournament experience. Our travel team will meet every Thursday afternoon (2PM) for a practice round at the Tahoe Donner Golf Course starting early June. This team will also have multiple home and away matches against other local teams on Monday afternoons around 4PM (Ponderosa, Old Greenwood and Martis Camp). Additionally, team members will get to join other fun events. All activities are weather permitting. For our Travel Team, we ask that players attend most practices and matches.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• A personalized numbered jersey, hat and other goodies from the PGA of America
• Eight Thursday afternoon practice rounds at the Tahoe Donner Golf Course (2PM)
• Six Monday afternoon matches at rotating courses (4PM)
• Other Perks – Drive, Chip + Putt Contest, Ice Cream Day, Club Tournament and Pizza Party
• Expert Coaching from PGA and LPGA Instructors

There is a two-step registration process.

• Step 1: please register your child on the PGA registration website.
• Step 2: After PGA registration is confirmed, Tahoe Donner will email you a team registration and payment form to complete. Registration is not complete until both steps are complete in this order.

HOME TEAM

Tahoe Donner’s Home Team is a summer program for girls and boys ages 7-13. This team is for golfers who have participated in Tahoe Donner golf camps, clinics or play days and are just starting to play on the golf course.

The Home Team will meet every Thursday afternoon (2PM) for a practice round and games at the Tahoe Donner Golf Course starting in early June and going through mid-August. Additionally, team members will get to join other fun events. All activities are weather permitting. This team is flexible, so players may join even if they cannot attend all activities.
