Annual Gym Orientation
A complimentary 45-minute tour of Trout Creek Recreation Center, is offered to all members on an annual basis and includes step-by-step instructions on how each piece of equipment works and a tour of the facility. These orientations are led by the personal training staff.

Personal Training Consultation
Tahoe Donner members can also sign up for a free first-time consultation with one of our personal trainers. It’s simple – you let us know your workout goals and we will match you up with the trainer who is the best fit to discuss what hiring a personal trainer could look like for you.

The personal trainers at Trout Creek Rec Center are all certified and highly experienced in working with a diverse range of clients. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, training for a specific event, or just starting out, our trainers have the knowledge and skills to guide you every step of the way.

Matthew Beals – Personal Trainer Matthew Beals
Matthew is an outdoor enthusiast and fitness trainer with over a decade of experience and various certifications, including CrossFit, Strongman, Olympic Weightlifting and kettlebell lifting.
Staci Curtis – Personal Trainer Staci Curtis
Staci is an outdoor adventure enthusiast, yoga teacher, and fitness trainer. She combines her 19 years of teaching various fitness modalities to create a unique movement experience catered to each client’s individual needs. She brings a holistic, whole-body approach to her training programs that blends her diverse background of dance, yoga, TRX, barre, strength and resistance training. She teaches the importance of body awareness and mindful movements in her sessions and believes fitness should be fun, empowering, and tailored to individual needs.

Staci specializes in functional fitness, movement, and strength. She is an ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer, a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, a certified TRX suspension and RIPPED trainer, and has her associate’s degree in dance.

She brings her passion, motivation and compassionate energy into everything she does. Whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, build strength, train for your specific sport, or simply find joy in movement, Staci is here to support you every step of the way.

Charlyn Lopez – Personal Trainer Charlyn Lopez
A native of Costa Rica, Charlyn has pursued a career in fitness since graduating from college in 2006 in both her home country and the U.S. She is certified in multiple areas of fitness, including as a Zumba Gold® instructor, as a personal trainer with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and as an L1 CrossFit coach.
