Annual Year-End Appeal 2021
As the year has come to a close, we gratefully reflect on our wonderful community and all it offers those of us who call Tahoe Donner “home,” whether we live here on special occasions or year-round.
But for those who need a little help to get through the winter, into college or past some of life’s challenges, this time of year can be very different.
Even with just a little help, giving together can make a world of difference.
By giving tax-deductible donations through the Tahoe Donner Giving Fund’s year-end annual appeal, even a modest donation when pooled with other donations can make so much possible for individuals and nonprofit organizations throughout the Truckee and North Tahoe community.
These are just some examples of what your tax-deductible donation can do:
- $50 could provide fresh, seasonal, sustainably grown food for a community member facing food insecurity
- $100 could help fund a college scholarship for a student with limited funds
- $175 could harden 15 feet of trail for mountain biking
- $250 could fund 120 meals for local senior citizens
- Any amount makes a difference!
The Tahoe Donner Giving Fund has been active since 2014, raising funds to help support arts and culture; education and youth development; environment, conservation and animal welfare; health and human services; and scholarships to local high school seniors who are going on to advance their education.
