Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is there to do here?

There’s so much to do here at Snowplay! You can ride the inflatable sledding tubes down two banked tube lanes, go sledding with our colorful sleds on sled lanes, dive into the snow to make a snowperson/animal/creature, grab a friend and have a snowball fight, lay in the snow and make snow angels, and so much more!

  • How long can we stay at Snowplay?

Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes (75 minutes). We will make a “15 minutes remaining” announcement towards the end of each session. Please exit the facility at the end of your session.

  • Do I have to buy a ticket for my toddler or super senior if their ticket is free?

Yes, everyone in your party must have a ticket to enter Snowplay, since every person who enters Snowplay contributes to our capacity of the space. Even if their ticket is free, please add them to your reservation and fill out the necessary waivers for everyone in your party. Kids age 12 and under must have one paying adult supervising them.

  • Can I purchase multiple, back-to-back sessions?

Of course! You will still need to exit the Snowplay area between your sessions while we reset, clean and test the tube and sled lanes. You must purchase tickets for each session you want to attend.

  • Do we have to rent the tubes/sleds?

No, you just need to bring yourself! Everything is included in the price of your ticket – tubes, sleds and even snowball makers.

  • Can we bring our own tubes or sleds?

No, we do not permit personal sleds, tubes, snowshoes, skis, snowboards, snow scooters or other personal snow sport equipment at Snowplay.

  • How do I ride the tubes?

Get in line for either tube lane near the sign that says “Line Starts Here,” and our Snowplay Attendants will show you what to do next!

  • Is there a carpet or tow rope back to the top?

No, participants walk their tubes back to the top of the tube lanes via the middle return path. Please exit the bottom of the lane quickly and drop your tube off at the top of the hill.

  • What is the minimum age to ride a tube?

There is a height requirement, not an age requirement to ride the tubes. Riders must be 36 inches or taller.

  • Can I ride the tube with my baby/toddler in my lap?

No, our tubes are for single riders only, and all riders must be at least 36 inches tall. If conditions permit, Snowplay may offer the option to connect two tubes with single riders together.

  • How do I ride the sleds?

Pick a sled from the top of our sled lane, wait until it’s your turn to go, and then sled down! Please ride feet first. Riding double is allowed on the sleds; make sure the coast is clear before you go, and walk back up on the designated walking path outside of the sled lanes. Children under 36 inches must ride with an adult.

  • What is the minimum age to ride a sled?

There is no age or height requirement to ride a sled, but children under 36 inches must ride with an adult.

  • Can we bring food and drink with us?

Food and drink are allowed – alcohol is not. This is a family-friendly amenity and alcohol is not allowed, along with smoking or vaping.

  • Can I just let my kids play while I wait?

Children 12 and under must have one adult with a ticket supervising them the entire time they play at Snowplay.

  • Is this a good place to give my dog some exercise?

Dogs are not allowed in the Snowplay area. All dogs must be on leash in the parking area.

  • Will the food truck be open?

Our food truck, TD Eats, is regularly open from 9AM-3PM on days that Snowplay is operating. They serve made-to-order donuts, hot chocolate and coffee, water and other snacks.

  • My preferred date is grayed out on the online booking calendar – what do I do?

Dates are grayed out when they are not available for booking. This can be due to three reasons:

    1. Snowplay tickets are released for online booking up to seven days in advance. Since tickets are non-refundable, this is done to ensure people can check the forecast and road conditions to make an informed purchase. If it’s more than seven days before the date you’re trying to book, please check back within the seven-day window.

    2. We are closed on the date you are trying to book.

    3. Snowplay reservations are full!
