Whether you’re a master of the slopes with decades of snow under your skis or are looking to have your children hone their ski or snowboard skills, Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort has the program for you.

From TD Tykes to league racing, Tahoe Donner’s child and youth ski and snowboard programs cover a wide range of ages. You’ll find the perfect spot for your child in programs that cater to skiers and snowboarders ages 3-13. For children who have never skied, join our mid-week TD Tyke program. Children ages 5-6 who are ready to step up to the next level should join the Sunday Speedsters. Youth skiers and riders ages 7-13 looking for social shred sessions will love the Recreational Ski and Snowboard Team’s mix of fun and learning. The Ski and Snowboard Race Teams participate in the Tahoe League race series and will dial in their skills with more than 30 days of coaching and racing over the season.

Seniors (age 55+) can ski with like-minded folks as well as enjoy year-round sports and social activities with the Tahoe Donner Senior Alpine Ski Club. Speed demons can get their fix in the Master’s Race Program, designed to improve racing skills in the slalom and giant slalom.

Note: To participate in TD Tykes, your child must be 3 years old by the start date of the program for Shop TD to allow you to register your child. For all programs, if your child is not the correct age for a program you are interested in, please contact Member Services at (530) 587-9400 and they will help you with registration on the phone. Online registration will not work until your child is the correct age, so please do not incorrectly input their birth date online. Your child must be registered by the first day of the program. Please contact Downill Ski Resort with questions about youth programs.

It is required that all children in programs wear appropriate attire: helmets, gloves, and goggles or sunglasses are required.
