Gym + Swim Rules

POLICIES FOR MINORS:

Members and guests ages 13-17 may use the gym but must be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a legal guardian at all times.
Members ages 13-17 may use the gym without direct supervision only after attending a gym orientation and having the gym waiver and code of conduct signed by a parent or legal guardian.

ATTIRE:

No wet, dirty or immodest clothing is allowed. No bathing suits allowed.
Shirts are required.
Dry, clean, closed-toe athletic shoes required. No dress shoes, boots, or sandals.

FOOD:

GYM ETIQUETTE:

Wipe down all equipment with disinfectant before and after each use.
Re-rack weights after each use.
Limit of 30 minutes usage per cardio machine.
Use one machine at a time and allow others to work-in when waiting.
Do not slam, drop, clang or throw weight stacks or dumbbells.
Equipment use is at your own risk. Follow equipment instructions. Ask a staff member if you are unfamiliar with equipment.
Tampering with any facility equipment other than its intended use is absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate loss of privileges.
No cell phone conversations in the gym. Please conduct calls in the lobby or outside.

Use of the Lap Pool is restricted to lap swimming only. Lap swimming is defined as swimming continuously from one end of the pool to the other.
Swim diapers and/or tight-fitting rubber pants are required for all children who are not potty-trained.
Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed in the pool. No other flotation devices are allowed.
Small coolers or soft coolers are allowed. Staff discourage the use of large/heavy coolers.
No glass allowed.
No chewing gum allowed.
No alcoholic beverages and/or smoking/vaping allowed.
No diving.
No running on pool deck.
No hanging on lane lines.
11-person maximum capacity in all hot tubs.
No loud obnoxious noises, screaming, shoving or pushing in or around the pools and hot tubs.
No breath-holding games.
Only those ages 18 and over are admitted in the steam room and dry sauna.
