It’s the week the kids have been waiting for! Recent storms have created perfect conditions for an unforgettable week of family adventure and smiles.

Rest assured that we have taken your family’s health and well-being into consideration to help ensure a safe and exciting week ahead. Here are few things to know so you can safely maximize your fun:

• Advanced online reservations are required for the Cross Country Ski Center, Downhill Ski Resort, Snowplay and Trout Creek Recreation Center pools; reservations can be made through ShopTD
  • No reservations required at the ski areas for ski season passholders
• Face coverings are required indoors, around trailheads and base areas, in lines, in parking lots, on shuttles and anywhere physical distancing cannot be maintained

Get the Kids on the Slopes
Start Ski Skate Week off right with a custom private ski lesson offered daily or a weekend group lesson package that includes a lift ticket, rental gear and a two-hour lesson. With wide-open bowls and plenty of friendly terrain, discover why Tahoe Donner is known as the best place to begin.

Pro Tip: Visit the Ski Grill + Bar for delicious hot food options and drinks.

The Perfect Family Sport
At the Cross Country Ski Center, kids and adults will enjoy beautifully groomed terrain varying from peaceful flowy green runs to the area’s most adventurous and challenging trails. Private lessons offered daily to help newbies jumpstart their XC adventures and experienced skiers up their game.

Elevate Your Visit: Check out Alder Creek Cafe’s Happy Hour from 2-4PM. Located right at TDXC.

Tube Time
What’s a winter break without sledding and building a snowman or two? Experience the awesome banked sled runs at our perfectly groomed Snowplay amenity. Online reservations are required and include 75 minutes of sledding and other snowy fun.

Snowplay is free for kids 3 and under and members with a paid Rec Fee.

Take a Dip
Members and their guests can make a splash at the Trout Creek Recreation Pool, open daily from 2-5:30PM for 90-minute sessions. For adults looking to get some laps in, the lap pool is also open all day for 90-minute sessions. Today’s water temperature is a lovely 79.9 degrees!

Alder Creek Cafe is open daily for delicious to-go breakfast, lunch and quick snack options. Don’t miss Chef David Smith’s famous Edi-Bōls that include Ahi Tuna Poke Bowls and Thai Coconut Red Curry Bowls.
