I-Did-A-Run Sled Dog Race

A Downsized Sled Dog Competition Supersized in Fun

Inspired by the world-famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race that takes place every March from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska. Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center will hold its annual “I-Did-A-Run” sled dog competition to benefit the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

Downsized in scale and distance but supersized in fun, this exciting weight pull race against the clock will include four categories for sporting pups to pull a sled weighing 50% of their body weight across a snow-covered course. Each division will have a winner, with an overall racing champion. Don't forget to enter the raffle for a chance to win great prizes!

When: Sunday, March 7
Time:  2-2:30PM check-in; race starts at 3PM
Dog Registration: Registration opens in February
Where: Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center
