TD Hold ‘Em Poker Ride + Live Music

It's Aces High at the TD Hold 'Em Poker Ride!
This checkpoint challenge of chance is for trail enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, whether on foot, on bike or on horseback. Cards are dealt at checkpoints located throughout the Tahoe Donner Trail System. Maps indicating the checkpoint locations will be available for pick up at the Alder Creek Adventure Center (ACAC) starting at 10AM. Once you've traveled the trails and collected five cards, head back to ACAC by 12PM for games to swap out cards and create your poker hand. Then, get ready for showdown time!

Showdown Time
At 12PM, it's time to show your best hand or at least your best poker face! After a round of swapping cards, see who gets crowned the victor of the ultimate poker ride adventure.

Live Music + Dining at Alder Creek Cafe
Participation in the event not necessary to join the apres fun. Groove along to live music with Rubicon Gold from 11AM-1PM while you enjoy great food and drinks from Alder Creek Cafe and the Trailside Bar.

About the Band: Rubicon Gold is a Truckee-based bluegrass band that brings a fresh and lively energy to the traditional sounds of the genre. Mining inspiration from bluegrass standards, contemporary and classic Americana and even reimagined popular hits, Rubicon Gold infuses their music with a modern flair, creating a unique and dynamic sound that captures the mountain life of Tahoe.
