TDXC Winter Speaker Series: Eben Swain, Truckee River Watershed Council

Mar 13, 2026
Alder Creek Adventure Center   |  5:30-6:30PM

Restoring Euer Valley

Join Eben Swain, Truckee River Watershed Council Project Director of Restoration, to learn more about how, in partnership with Tahoe Donner, our stunning new Coyote Crossing Bridge was built, and what other important, but less obvious, work has been going on to repair 150 years of disturbance from grazing and timber harvesting in the Valley. Eban will share stories and some cool photos of how the bridge was built in such a delicate area and in such a short amount of time.

A Chef's special - Italian Calabrian Style Steak Bowl (Seasoned Steak Calabrian Style, Lentils, Roasted Broccoli Rabe, Sofritoand Water Cress Pesto. Vegan option with Tofu) and our usual Alder Creek Cafe après menu will be available until 5:15PM, and the Trailside Bar will be open, offering happy hour pricing on beer and wine throughout the event, making it the perfect way to kick off your weekend. Free to attend – everyone welcome.
