COMMONS BEACH

TRUCKEE AREA
The beautiful town of Truckee offers a variety of ways to enjoy the water this summer and beat the heat. Bring Fido down to a dog-friendly beach on the east end of Donner Lake, or post up on one of the many public piers, great for launching your kayak or jumping in and swimming. Glenshire Drive, east of downtown, provides access to many great swimming spots along the Truckee River. Boca, Stampede and Prosser Reservoirs north of town offer plenty of shoreline for fishing or Stand Up Paddleboarding.
