Trout Creek Recreation Center is now open and better than ever. We’re excited to offer our members one of the biggest gyms in the North Tahoe area, just in time to start training for summer activities. If you need to get set for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming or any of the other amazing adventures that summer in Tahoe brings, the new Trout Creek Recreation Center can help make sure your body will be ready. Trout Creek now offers a dedicated spin room, added weight equipment, one-on-one personal training, massages, multiple pools and hot tubs, a diverse mix of fitness classes for every level and ability, and more. BEST WAY TO BE READY FOR TWO WHEELS

Trout Creek has a new spin room with added bikes and classes! If you love riding your bike on roads or trails in the summer, get a head start on your riding fitness by spinning with our amazing instructors. You’ll get your sweat on and when the snow melts, you’ll be in prime shape for Tahoe road biking or mountain biking through the trails at Alder Creek Adventure Center.

BEST WAY TO STRENGTHEN BONES

Strength training has been shown to decrease risk and severity of injury, promote stable body composition and increase bone density. Trout Creek has added new weight machines in its expansive new weight room. There’s an exercise to benefit everyone, and if weight machines seem a little intimidating,book a private coaching session with one of our personal trainers.

BEST TRAINING FOR STEEP CLIMBS 

If running or biking up hills is your thing, make sure you’re ready for the sprint! Trout Creek offers high-intensity interval training or HIIT classes that pack a huge punch in a short amount of time. These 30-minute classes consist of cardio intervals using jump training, sculpting and floor drills. Kick up your metabolism, strengthen your core and experience explosive power!
