Summer is officially here, and it’s time to shift gears for an exciting new way to discover the Tahoe Donner Trail System. Bikeworks, located at the Alder Creek Adventure Center, offers a wide variety of bikes – and e-mountain bikes (eMTBs) – for all ages and skill levels to explore over 60 miles of single and doubletrack trails and fire roads over rolling hills, down a thrilling flow track, across sprawling meadows bursting with wildflowers or through one of the most breathtaking valleys in the High Sierra and beyond.  more...

An Exciting New Feature Comes to Glacier Way

The popular Glacier Way trailhead offers a jumping-off point for exploring the ridgeline above Donner Lake and connecting into the robust Tahoe Donner Trail System and Donner Lake Rim Trail. Ideal for hiking, biking and snowshoeing, the area offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding Sierra Nevada.
