Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort is looking for superstars, so come out and win some medals! Events are for all ages and include ski and snowboard races, a weighted ski patrol sled pull, luge racing event and more! Participates can sign up on the day of the event. Avy Savvy Class with NASTC. CANCELLED

Alder Creek Adventure Center   |  9AM, Half-Day  

An intro/overview to the backcountry. Learn to use avalanche gear, how to select routes and what to do if someone is caught in an avalanche, plus a beginner-level tour. Open to skiers of all levels who are Tahoe Donner members or member guests. Learn more and sign up at skinastc.com.

Glowstick Parade and Carnival

This family-friendly event offers an array of multi-colored lights skiing downhill at night. Fun for participants and spectators alike. Participants should plan to come early to secure a spot in the parade, and get glow sticks by playing free carnival games. Music and snacks will be provided in the bar area prior to the parade.

Ski Clinic with Mark Engel

Ski with local US Alpine Ski Team member Mark Engel who just returned from the 2018 Winter Games. Receive inspirational coaching, Q&A opportunities and a fun ski with Mark. After receiving general on-mountain skill tips, participants can take a run through the race course gates. This fun clinic takes place in a group lesson format and is limited to 15 skiers and riders.

The Family Challenge is a matched time competition raced by family teams at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. It is a Giant Slalom race, but the time that counts is the difference between first and second runs.

The sun is still up, so Eagle Rock chairlift will remain open a little later at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area until 5:45 p.m. Enjoy BBQ, live music and a special outdoor bar. Attendees will also be entered in a free drawing to win a 2018-19 season pass.

Closing Day and Downhill Dummy Contest

Join Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort for the annual end of season bash! Enjoy food and beverage specials, a bounce house, live music, and the traditional Downhill Dummy event, in which teams build unique dummies to send sliding down the hill and off a massive jump.
