2018 New Year's Eve Events in Tahoe Donner

Join the celebration on New Year’s Eve this Monday, December 31. There are plenty of family-friendly activities and fun events happening right here in Tahoe Donner.

LIGHT PARADE + FIREWORKS 
Join other skiers and riders in this fun and visual Light Parade down Eagle Rock Run. Sign up for the parade or be a spectator.  Stick around for the New Year’s Fireworks immediately following the Light Parade.
Location: Downhill Ski Resort
Time: Parade sign ups 4:30-5:30PM | Chairs load 6:15PM

GUIDED SNOWSHOE TOUR 
Celebrate the New Year with a guided snowshoe hike on Tahoe Donner’s cross country ski trails. Stay for a drink after at the Trailside Bar – a great place to watch the fireworks launched from our Downhill Ski Resort.
Time: 5:30-8PM

NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER AT THE LODGE
Ring in the New Year with a special menu prepared by Chef Lew Orlady and champagne toast at midnight. Kids menu is available. Reservations are recommended. Call (530) 587-9455.

Time: Dinner seating from 5-10PM

NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER +  FIREWORKS VIEWING
Bring friends and the family to enjoy a unique mountain casual dinner menu prepared by Chef David Smith from 5-8PM. Watch the fireworks (set off at the Downhill Ski Resort after the annual light parade) and enjoy drinks from the Trailside Bar. No reservations.

KID’S NIGHT OUT 
Sign your kids up for a night of pizza, games, arts and crafts, a movie and much more. Our trained staff will chaperone this fun evening while you enjoy a night out. Reservations are required. Call (530) 587-9437.
