Registration
All STR properties are required to register with Tahoe Donner starting January 1, 2019 using the online form below.
- Current STR owners must register by March 1, 2019 to avoid fines.
- New STR owners will need to register within a 30-day window of the first rental booking.
- All STRs are required to register with the Town of Truckee for the Transient Occupancy Tax.
- All owners, renters and vacation renters must comply with Tahoe Donner Covenants Rules. Owners must provide complete Covenants Rules and other documentation to STR renters and should obtain a signed Renter Rule Acknowledgement Form. To access the required documents, visit STR documents + tools.
- You will be notified via email once your registration is processed with detailed information and resources.
- Registration of your STR property is FREE.
