• I have a short-term tenant card. What does this do, and how much is the fee for short-term tenants at Tahoe Donner’s private amenities?

    Private amenities like the Beach Club Marina, Trout Creek Recreation Center and the Tennis Center are not free for STR tenants. The short-term tenant card grants short-term tenants access to private amenities with payment of a Daily Access Fee. Each short-term tenant card grants one person access per day.   • Can I have a fire?

    A Truckee-area seasonal fire ban is often times in place that includes Tahoe Donner. No wood or charcoal grills are permitted. Gas grills and fires are allowed, but please be cautious when using and never leave unattended. Learn more here.

  • Where are reservations required?

    An access reservation is currently required at the following private amenities:

      • Tennis Center: daily reservations made by calling (530) 587-9474, ext. 2
      • Trout Creek Recreation Pool: Reservations may apply during peak holiday periods.
      • Beach Club Marina: Reservations may apply during peak holiday periods.
  • Do I need a reservation to access the playground at the Trout Creek Recreation Center?

    Many services at the Trout Creek Recreation Center do not require a reservation, including the Gym, Lap Pool, saunas, steam room, two hot tubs, playground, and basketball court. Reservations may be required for the Recreation Pool during peak holiday periods. A Daily Access Fee still applies to the use of any service at the Rec Center.

  • Do I need a reservation to access Beach Club Marina?

    The Beach Club Marina is first come, first served, and reservations may be required during peak holiday periods.

  • What are the Tahoe Donner Association rules we should abide by?

    See the full list of rules and information here. A few key ones include: 

          • NOISE that is “an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighbor(s)” is prohibited after 10 PM.
          • OUTDOOR LIGHTS OUT after 10 PM to enjoy the mountain stars and minimize light pollution.
          • FIREWORKS AND FIREARMS of any kind are prohibited.
          • PARKING: off-pavement, on other people’s property/driveway, or on access easements is prohibited.
  • How do I dispose of trash and recyclables?

    Tuesday is trash day in Tahoe Donner. Your property owner should provide you with waste/recycling bins at your property. If not, or if you have questions, please contact your property owner. If there is more trash/recycling that doesn’t fit in the bins, please pack it out. There are no community options available. If you are putting out recycling or green waste bins, they must be brought to the curb by 6 AM.
