2026 SUMMER CAMPS
Day Camps go on sale at 2PM for Members on March 16 (Sessions 1-4) and March 18 (Sessions 5-8).
Registration open for Guests of Members at 2PM on March 26 for all sessions.

Tahoe Donner Day Camps provide children ages 3-14 with programs packed full of learning and exploration with age-appropriate activities that challenge and educate kids via new and diverse outdoor experiences. Campers will participate in various activities such as swimming, horseback riding, creek exploring, mountain biking, rock climbing, beach outings, hiking and exploring the Tahoe National Forest. Our staff aims to give each child a memorable mountain experience while providing a fun and safe learning environment.

All levels/age groups meet for five days (Monday-Friday) during each session.

LEVELS/AGE GROUPS

Age Requirements: Age requirements are established for the safety and well-being of all campers, and there will be no exceptions regarding children’s ages for camp. Children must be the correct age on the Monday they attend camp.

HIGH MOUNTAIN KIDS CAMPS
Younger-aged children are engaged through nature walks, group swim lessons, arts and crafts, creative play and more.

Time: 8:45-11:30AM (extended hours 11:30AM-1:30PM, lunch not provided)

EXPLORERS
Young explorers will love the focus on nature education, outdoor activities, hiking, group swim lessons, games and more.

PIONEERS
Countless adventures await, including tennis, archery, hiking, water safety class and outdoor living skills. Activities may vary each week.

CLUB TAHOE DONNER
Highlights include trips to the beach, the pool, the driving range, outdoor bouldering, mountain biking and archery. Activities may vary each week.

DONNER LAKE ADVENTURE CAMP
Providing fun and challenging activities that enhance teamwork skills, self-confidence and outdoor survival knowledge. Activities may include rock climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, mountain biking, archery and canoeing. Activities may vary each week.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP
An experiential-based learning program with team building, leadership development, outdoor living skills, hands-on camp counselor experience and personal growth. Only offered during Sessions 3, 5 and 7.

Time: Monday + Friday | 9:30AM-2:45PM; Tuesday, Wednesday + Thursday | 8:45AM-2:15PM

WHAT TO PACK

  • Swimsuit and towel (may be needed Tuesday-Friday)

Campers must wear closed-toe shoes. It is recommended that parents label all camper belongings before coming to camp.

All electronics and toys are prohibited from camps. Children who bring a phone, smartwatch or other device to camp will be asked to keep it in their backpack.


CANCELLATIONS

PLEASE PLAN YOUR SUMMER IN ADVANCE. Due to the high number of cancellations and limited supply, Day Camps cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the first day of camp for a refund with a 25% cancellation fee per product canceled. Cancellation policy strictly enforced. If a child is found to be registered for a program that they are not eligible for, their registration will be canceled, and no refund will be given.
