SHORT-TERM TENANT ACCESS
The use of short-term tenant cards went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025, and must be renewed annually. Expired Transferable Guest Cards presented thereafter at amenities will be collected by staff and removed from circulation.
The Short-Term Tenant Card program is optional, and Short-Term Rental (STR) property owners are not required to provide them for their renters.

How can I get private amenity access for my short-term rental tenants?
Short-term rental (STR) property owners whose properties are registered with the Town of Truckee and Tahoe Donner are eligible to receive up to six transferable short-term tenant cards per property annually, which grant access to private amenities. The purchase and activation of the cards require a $90 annual administration fee (Please note this is a flat fee covering all cards requested). Daily Access Fees and blackout dates apply.

Do the STR cards provide any discounts?
Short-Term Tenant Cards provide access to private amenities with payment of the Daily Access Fee. They do not include member-exclusive pricing or discounts on products and services.

How many STR tenants can access the private amenities at a time?
Each Short-Term Tenant Card provides access to one individual (ages 3+) per day to private amenities. See blackout dates above and Daily Access Fees apply to all short-term tenants.
