Welcome to Tahoe Donner! Tahoe Donner offers a variety of amenities for you to enjoy.

As a short-term tenant, you have access to Tahoe Donner’s public amenities during your stay. Private amenity access is available to you with the utilization of Short-Term Tenant Cards. This page explains how private amenity access works for short-term tenants staying in a short-term rental (STR) home who choose to participate in our Short-Term Tenant Card program within Tahoe Donner.

As a short-term tenant, to access Tahoe Donner’s private amenities, you must have:
Orange and white pass for Tahoe Donner Short-Term Tenant, labeled Card 1. It features a barcode and note: "Daily access fee required."

A valid Short-Term Tenant Card for each person ages 3+

Private amenity access is only available with a Short-Term Tenant Card, but you are welcome to visit all public amenities, including Downhill Ski Resort, Cross Country Ski Center, Snowplay, Golf Course, Equestrian Center, Bikeworks and all restaurants and the over 60 miles of public access trails.

WHAT IS A SHORT-TERM TENANT CARD?

Short-Term Tenant Cards are issued to eligible STR property owners to provide their short-term tenants access to private Tahoe Donner amenities.

Short-Term Tenant Card Access Rules

  • 1 card = 1 person (ages 3+)
  • Card limit: up to 6 cards per property, per year
  • Cards provide daily access: one person per day, per card
  • Daily Access Fees apply to all private amenity visits by short-term tenants (see below)
  • Blackout dates apply during select peak/holiday periods:
    • Jan. 17-19 (MLK Day)
    • Feb. 14-16 (President’s Day)
    • May 23-25 (Memorial Day)
    • July 1-5 (July 4th)
    • Sept. 5-7 (Labor Day)
    • Nov. 26-29 (Thanksgiving Day)
    • Dec. 24-Jan. 3, 2027 (Christmas/New Year’s holiday)

Tahoe Donner offers both private (card required) and public (no card required) amenities.
