Plan Ahead: Reservations Required for Beach Club Marina + Trout Creek Recreation Pool July 1–3

JUNE 30 UPDATE: Reservations are required July 1-3 and will remain open until capacity is reached. Reservations are no longer required July 4-6.

Please be aware of timely and important updates regarding access to the Beach Club Marina and Trout Creek Rec Pool for this week.  

Due to ongoing technical issues within ShopTD we have determined that we cannot guarantee a smooth and reliable advanced reservation experience. While our intent was to enhance your holiday experience with advanced reservations, we recognize that these technical challenges are having the opposite effect on many of you. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. 

Effective Immediately: 

• Advanced reservations will NO LONGER be required for July 4, 5 and 6. Members and their personal guests will have priority access to the Beach Club Marina and Trout Creek Rec Pool from opening until 12PM on these 3 days. Short-Term Rental (STR) tenants may be admitted starting at 12PM, based on available capacity. Daily access fees apply, and each STR guest must present an STR card.

• These dates will now operate on a first-come, first-served, in-person basis at both the Beach Club Marina and Trout Creek Recreation Pool but still provide a member priority window. 

What’s Still in Place: 

• Reservations remain valid and required for July 1, 2 and 3 until capacity is reached. If you’ve successfully booked a reservation for those dates, it will be honored. 

Amenity Access Priority (per the Amenity Access Rule): 

1. Members 
2. Personal Guests 
3. Resident Tenants 
4. Short-Term Rental (STR) Tenants 

From Tuesday, July 1, through Thursday, July 3, reservations will be required for access to both the Beach Club Marina and Trout Creek Recreation Pool during peak hours. To help manage demand and provide a smoother experience, members, personal guests and short-term rental (STR) tenants will be able to reserve sessions in advance via ShopTD.

How to Make a Reservation

Reservations open 3 days in advance of the visit date. Reservations for Members (purchasing for themselves and/or their personal guests) will open at 8AM. Personal Guests purchasing for themselves and STR tenants can book starting at 12PM:

• Reservations for July 1 open on June 28
• Reservations for July 2 open on June 29
• Reservations for July 3 open on June 30

Reminder: All individuals making a reservation must have a valid Member ID Card and be listed as a “member” on their ShopTD account and/or a valid STR Card. If you are purchasing for a personal guest, you will need their full name and birthdate to complete the registration process. Personal Guests purchasing for themselves will need to be registered on a member’s property in order to gain access. Visit the Amenity Access Hub to ensure your access is current before booking.

Daily Reservation Sessions

Each day from July 1–3, reservations will be available for the following time slots:

Beach Club Marina + Trout Creek Recreation Pool:

• Session 1: 10:30AM – 12:30PM
• Session 2: 12:45PM – 2:45PM
• Session 3: 3:00PM – 5:00PM

*Please note: Trout Creek will close early July 4 and 5 at 3PM for the Summer Concert on the Green. 

Early and Late Access (No Reservation Needed)

• Beach Club Marina: Open to walk-ins (fees apply) from 7AM – 10:30AM and again from 5PM – 9PM
• Trout Creek Rec Pool: Open to walk-ins from 5PM – 7PM

Access Pricing

Important Access Information

• Each person is allowed one reservation per day, per amenity.
  
• On non-reservation days, per the amenity access rule change, access priority will be given in order of: Members, Personal Guests, Resident Tenants, then Short-Term Rental (STR) Tenants.
• Reservations are not required for the gym side or lap pool at Trout Creek Rec Center.
• The Northwoods Clubhouse Pool is on a first-come, first-served basis during this time period; no reservations are required. 
• Personal Guest access must be registered to a property or accompanied by a member. Unaccompanied personal guests who are not registered to a property will not be granted access. 
• STR access requires a valid STR card per individual (up to 6 cards available per property).
• No refunds will be issued for unused or weather-impacted reservations—please plan ahead carefully before booking.
• Members may purchase Personal Guest access during the member window, but cannot purchase STR access during that time.
• Please be aware of the timing of your reservation window so you are prepared to leave on time to make each reservation window transition smoothly. 
• Remember that the shuttle service from the Truckee High School parking lot to the Beach Club Marina is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer. See the schedule and more details.
