Rooted in Groundwork: In Nature Through the Eyes of a Horse Workshop

Oct 05, 2025
Equestrian Center   |  9AM-12PM

The Fall Equinox represents a time of growth, balance and expansion. Come join us at the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center to learn about the healing energy of nature and horses as we transition into the fall season. Participants will learn about grounding techniques while in the presence of horses, a guided meditation and yoga session and a tea ceremony, providing an opportunity for quiet reflection. Local soothing products from Mountain Song will also be available as this workshop offers a chance to work with horses overground; there is no riding involved. A manual outlining the workshop will be provided to all participants. Horse experience is not a requirement.

This workshop will be taught by Dr. Irina Fedulow Plante, a licensed physical therapist who helps riders of all disciplines with orthopedic and neurological presentations. She’s joined by Michaela Hafford, an expert in horse groundwork and training, who focuses on the connection between humans and horses.
